The Last Day!

Good morning my beloved in Christ and welcome to this week’s CC’s Word of Advice from Christpoint Church Melbourne.

It is my prayer that you and your beautiful mother’s had a wonderful time yesterday celebrating Mother’s Day.

(I know it would have been haed due to the COVID19 restrictions)

I pray that this week that we seek our Lord Jesus Christ more and more; It is also my prayer that if you have not yet accepted Him into your heart as your Lord and Savior, that you do.

We are reminded day by day that we are here one day, gone the next.

We need to have Jesus in our hearts, to have a personal and intimate relationship with Him.

We need to become living sacrifices for Him as we become Transformed into His image through the renewing our our minds.

We need to live a life of service to Him and committing our lives totally to God, as we do not know when we move from our current living state to a non-living one.

We never know when we will stop living in this world and be before our creator.

We don’t know when our Last Day on earth will be.

Just as the people of Pompeii went about their business on a typical day, not really knowng that it would be their last.

Click here to watch what happened to Pompeii:https://youtu.be/fbISsFx6v-Y

”For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. It is written: ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.'” Romans 14:7-12

This is one of the most freeing and powerful reminders the Holy Spirit gives to believers about their relationships.

A day is approaching for every one of us when we’ll meet God face to face and be recognized as to the life we lived.

In the end, His approval and opinion are the only things that will matter that day.

This means that God’s Men and Women can love, connect and change aggressively to make their relationships healthy, because thy live for an audience of One.

This was the approach of Jesus while on earth; fearless before men as He sacrificially loved people and pleased the Father to whom He was returning.

You and I exist to please God alone, so live for an audience of One.

Be aware that when we face Jesus as Christians that very last day, we will be judged or be given an accounting for the rewards we will receive, guilt is gone.

•“There is no condemnation for those who love the Lord.” Romans 8:1

The accounting will be on the left side of the ledger, the Assets side of the ledger; this is for those who believe that Jesus paid it all.

The accountability for sin will be on the Liabilities or the right side of the ledger, for those who refuse to accept His unconditional love and grace.

We do what we do out of gratitude for adopting us as his Children, not to give an account of what Jesus has already paid for on the cross.

Today is the day that Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart. He wants you to let Him in.

“He wants to prepare you and I for our Last Day here on this place called Earth.”

What will you do? Will you let Him in?

If you would like to accept Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior, pray with me like this:

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from You.
I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward You.
Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that Your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, Is alive, and hears my prayer.
I invite You, Jesus to become the Lord and Savior of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward.
Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. I thank You my Lord Jesus for Saving me today. In Jesus’ name I pray this and a whole lot more, Amen.”

God bless you all.
